Johnstown, Pennsylvania

A statue called Morley’s Dog has long been a beloved icon in Johnstown, Pennsylvania, even before a devastating flood destroyed the city in 1889. Today, in addition to the original statue, there are decorated replicas placed around the city. Imagine making such a fuss over a fake dog!

Mineral Point, Pennsylvania

Completed in 1833, the Staple Bend Tunnel is the oldest railroad tunnel in the US. We had to hike for a couple of miles to get there, but we can finally see the light at the end of the tunnel, 901 feet away!
