Dothan, Alabama calls itself the "Peanut Capital of the World," with half of all US peanuts produced within 100 miles of the city. There are around 70 decorated 4-foot tall "peanuts" in Dothan, including the Fire Department's peanut fire hydrant and dalmatian (who was caught by surprise when I photo-bombed the picture!)
